About us

Buxton Preschool Playgroup

A part of Buxton village community for over 40 years!

We operate from Buxton Village Hall, five days a week during term time.

Within the preschool team we have three Keyperson groups which are:

Butterflies, Ladybirds and Bumblebees.

Each group provides your child with a designated Keyperson to tailor their individual learning and development.

We are a charity registered organisation, run by a committee of pre-school parents.

Buxton Preschool Playgroup

A safe and stimulating environment for children to flourish and learn!

Our Ethos

At Buxton Preschool Playgroup we pride ourselves in providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children to flourish.

Children and parents are given time to enable the child to settle with flexible sessions to suit, meeting the needs of both child and parents.

Keypersons work closely with children and their families to build a strong bond and develop a secure platform for learning and development.

The needs of every child is met within our nurturing environment via individual observations and assessments with activities planned around the children's interests and seasonal/community celebrations.

We see ourselves as one family all working together for the greatness of the child.
